About the Programme

A faith-based HIV response serving communities in Liberia.

The Lutheran Church in Liberia HIV & AIDS Programme was established in 2001 to help communities respond to HIV with knowledge, compassion, dignity, and practical support.

Our work includes prevention awareness, voluntary counselling and testing, counsellor training, community mobilization, stigma reduction, and support for people living with and affected by HIV.
